He has played comic characters successfully, giving signals of being flexible. Amaechi Mounagor thrives in English Language films, which revolves round Igbo culture. He has appeared in contemporary (urban) English language films. However he needs to research his characters more often and better, to enable him improve. Some of his fans feels that he tends to shout in his delivery but overall he is a good actor.
