Kylie Jenner has slammed Forbes after the magazine published a bombshell report on Friday, stripping the 22-year-old of her billionaire status and accusing her of inflating the size of her business and success.

KanyiDaily recalls that Forbes had named Kylie Jenner “The Youngest Self-Made Billionaire Ever” in March 2019 owing to the popularity of her Kylie Cosmetics brand.

According to Forbes, she had made millions from Kylie Cosmetics, which she later sold a 51% stake to the beauty company Coty in a deal that valued her company at $1.2 billion.

However, the publication on Friday accused her of ‘lying about company figures and forging tax returns’ to reach the billionaire status in a new report titled “Inside Kylie Jenner’s Web of Lies – And Why’s She’s No Longer a Billionaire”.

Forbes said Jenner and her mother, Kris Jenner, inflated their wealth in documents they provided to the publication last year about Kylie’s personal wealth and her company’s revenue.

The magazine said the Jenners had previously invited the publication into their homes and accountants’ offices and provided Forbes with tax returns “that were likely forged,” though that does not mean the tax returns she filed were fraudulent.

According to Forbes’ new calculations Kylie’s is worth just under $900million.

Kylie Jenner hit back at the magazine on Twitter, accusing it of “a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions.”

“I’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period,” she wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that Kylie Jenner had broken silence over the controversy surrounding her billionaire status. She insisted that she did not receive any money from her famous parents that would have aided in her achieving billionaire status.
