News anchor, Cyril Stober retires from The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), The Veteran broadcaster was earlier reported to have retired from service in 2015, but was later seen anchoring programmes on the government-owned TV after the announcement of his retirement.
Although there has not been an official announcement from the Network service on his retirement, but reports gathered on social media indicate that Cyril has finally retired.
In 2018, he wedded another broadcaster with the NTA, Elizabeth Banu.
The two broadcasters were famed for casting the Network News and anchoring the programme, Tuesday live also on the NTA network.
