A live snake brought an abrupt end to plenary in the Ondo State House of Assembly on Thursday, July 25, 2019.
According to Channels TV, the snake dropped from the roof of the chamber, leaving lawmakers scampering for safety to avoid being bitten by the rampaging reptile.
No one could immediately ascertain whether the unwanted guest was conjured or merely chasing some rodents before accidentally landing on the floor of the House.
Legislative activities were then suspended until the complex is renovated.
