A few days ago, Jorja Smith teased another collaboration with Burna Boy, following their team-up on “Gum Body” — a standout off African Giant. Well, the track, “Be Honest”, is finally here, along with a stunning music video, and it’s just as impressive as we expected.

“Be Honest” is Jorja Smith’s first official single since her acclaimed debut album, Lost & Found, and given the amount of buzz surrounding Burna Boy, this collab makes a lot of sense. The two already showed great synergy on “Gum Body”, and “Be Honest” is no different.

Against a smooth beat, Jorja Smith states her intentions for a relationship, singing that she wants her man to be as honest as she is about the way he feels. Burna Boy then joins her to affirm what she’s saying, confessing his feelings and showering his lover with compliments.

For the accompanying music video, which was beautifully directed by Amber Grace Johnson, we see a confident Jorja Smith living her very best life and gallivanting around London with her friends, while Burna Boy lies desolately in bed, making his declarations of love.
