Arsenal equaled Chelsea’s London derby achievement following their 5-1 win against Crystal Palace in Saturday’s Premier League game at Selhurst Park.
A brace from Gabriel Jesus and goals from Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Declan Rice, saw Arsenal return to winning ways after dropping points against Everton.
The win means Arsenal are the first side not to lose a single Premier League London derby in a calendar year since Chelsea in 2005.
Mikel Arteta’s men recorded eight wins and two draws.
Also, it is the first time the Gunners have done it since 2004.
The win against Palace saw Arsenal, on 33 points, cut the points gap with leaders Liverpool to three points. The Reds, however have played two games less.
The North London club are just one point behind second-placed Chelsea, who will be guests to Everton on Sunday.
