Senator Matthew Urhoghide of the Peoples Democratic Party has been re-elected to represent Edo South Senatorial district.
He polled 135,588 to defeat his All Progressives Congress opponent, Hon Patrick Obahiagbon.
Returning Officer, Prof Joseph Osemwenkha, who announced the result said Obahiagbon scored 121,957.
