Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino has denied reports circulating in the media that he snubbed the club’s co-owner Todd Boehly after the Blues’ loss against Liverpool in the final of the Carabao Cup on Sunday.

Recall that Liverpool defeated Chelsea 1-0 thanks Van Dijk’s late header.

However, it was reported that the Argentine appeared to made his way along the long line of officials and dignitaries, including a red-faced Boehly, and appeared to ignore the owner and chairman during the medal presentation.

However, Pochettino in a press conference on Tuesday denied such rift.

“Yes [I feel the support of the board].

“After the game, Todd sent a really nice message.

“We were talking and I said hello when I saw them in the stadium. I met Behdad [Eghbali, co-owner] after and we were talking, we were talking.

“We were sharing our opinion of the game, we were talking about the opportunity we missed to win a trophy because we played really well in 90 minutes. We were not clinical enough.”
