While we haven’t been hearing much about Victor Moses since he joined Fenerbahçe on loan from Chelsea, he has been doing fairly well in the Turkish Süper Lig. Just four months after that transfer, football stats site, Transfermarkt has listed Moses as the most valuable player in the league.
The 28-year-old right winger’s value now stands at €14 million (over five billion naira), and that’s one million euros higher than the second most valuable player in the Süper Lig.
As of May 28 last year, when he was still at Chelsea, Moses’ market value was €20 million – the highest he has reached in his career so far. So, if you’re wondering if the current price is derived from his value during his time in England, it’s not.
He definitely worked his ass off to take the top spot, scoring crucial goals to help end Fenerbahçe’s three-game winless run. His performance probably driven by Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri’s refusal to grant him adequate playtime in the club.
Now, we hope this will bring the attention of Europe’s top clubs his way.
