Senate adjourns plenary till April 7th amidst coronavirus pandemic

The Nigerian Senate has suspended plenary for two weeks as part of preventive measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The lawmakers are expected to resume seating on April 7th.

The Upper Chamber urged the Federal Government to devote special funds to fight the dreaded disease.
