Seven members of Kano’s Covid-19 Taskforce, including its Co-Chairman Professor Abdurazak Habib Garba, a commissioner, and five others have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
The Deputy Governor Kano State, Nasiru Gawuna, who doubles as the chairman, has since gone into self Isolation after making contact with those tested positive.
The task force was inaugurated by Gov. Abdulahi Ganduje, and it has been up and doing since the virus spread to the state.
Kano now has a total number of 28 citizens infected.
