The Governor who disclosed this when members of his press crew congratulated him over his recovery from COVID-19 virus, said the period has given him the opportunity to reflect on providing balanced leadership in the execution of policies and programmes, saying “it is a time that I came close to Almighty Allah. I have seen sympathy from my genuine supporters. The majority of people of Bauchi who voted me into office are with me.
“The isolation period has given me time to reflect on my style of leadership, my relationship with people, my limitations, my gaps and the state’s gaps in terms of infrastructure, services, finances, human capital in terms of what we are doing for empowerment, and interpersonal relationship,” he said.
He said the administration will come up with new initiatives in addition to the current projects embarked upon in order to overcome the challenges facing the state and its people.
