‘Wizkid inspired myself and others to start making music’ – Davido

Award-winning pop singer, David Adeleke widely known as Davido set social media on fire after shocking revelations about his long time counterpart, Wizkid and how he inspired him to take up music fully.

Davido admitted that his colleague, Ayo Balogun also known as Wizkid is one of those who inspired him to take up music, regarding him as a solid leader in the Nigerian music industry at the moment.

The Risky crooner revealed this as he joined DJ Ecool on Battle of The Hits challenge on social media, a battle driven by pure machismo to help fans get their minds off the coronavirus ravaging the world.

This is coming after the heated up session Nigerian producers, Sars and Shizzi had about two nights ago that went viral on social media,

Two top Nigerian producers gracefully accepted Battle of The Hits challenge, and they both posted digital artworks to entertained fans on Instagram.

However, Davido went on Twitter to challenge any current record label to compete with DMW on the Battle of The Hits.

He joined DJ Ecool on Instagram live a few minutes after 10 pm and for more than two hours, Nigerians were entertained by Davido.

During the session, Davido shared many untold stories, experiences, his success and pains in the industry.

One of the greatest talking points on the night; was when he admitted Wizkid inspired him and other young artistes to take up music.

Davido also disclosed that if not for Mohits “I don’t think I will be doing music at all.”

“I met Wiz. It was like, I am coming to the game. Coming to join you,” He said as he told ECool to play Wizkid’s 10 tracks back to back.
