Oprah Winfrey and the Nigerian boy
Media mogul, Oprah Winfrey has sent, Olufemi Yessoufou, a Nigerian student at the Morehouse college in the US a new phone, after she teased him about his cracked screen in a viral video, which he shared on his Twitter handle.
Yessoufou, who goes by @BigDon0 on Twitter had shared a video, which he had done with the legendary TV host and a friend of his, Zachariah Smith. He tweeted, “She played me @Oprah.“
In the video, Yessoufou had said, “Hey Oprah!” She responded, “Hey! That’s me. That’s me in your cracked phone.” Her comment had elicited laughter from the trio in the video.
On Friday, Yessoufou tweeted an update, as he revealed that the Talk show queen had sent him a brand new phone.
Oprah sent a note alongside the phone gift, which reads, “Dear Olufemi, we can’t have you out here viewing the world thru a cracked screen or cracked cover. The new camera, you are gonna love for sure.”
The note dated 17th October, 2019 was signed by Oprah.
