‘Iron Man’, a single recently released by Mavin Record’s new signee, Rema, has been featured on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

The former US President took to his Twitter page and shared a list of 44 songs he and his wife, Michelle were bopping to this summer.

Rema’s ‘Iron Man’ was spotted on number 42 on the list as he appeared to be the only Nigerian on the list. Obama wrote:

“With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy.”

Among the songs in the playlist are Drake’s ‘Feel Good’ featuring Rihanna; Beyonce, Childish Gambino and Jay Z’s ‘Mood 4 Eva’; John Legend’s ‘Alright’; Terrence Trent’s ‘Who’s Loving You’; Stevie Wonder’s ‘Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing’; and ‘Senorita’ by Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello.

Other artistes who’s songs or collaboration also made the list are Rihanna, Lauryn Hill, Sharon Van Etten, Mac Miller, the Black Keys, Lil Nas X, Ella Mai, Frank Sinatra, DJ Khaled, Charles Mingus, J Balvin, Erick Sermon and Mavin Gaye.

Rema is a fast rising Nigerian hip hop rapper, Afro beats singer, songwriter, stage performer, recording artist and a model currently signed by both Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and D’Prince’s Jonzing World.
