A Nigerian man has expressed his view that singer Davido winning a Grammy Award would be a more significant achievement than the Super Eagles winning the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

In a video shared on his TikTok page, the man identified as @official_gegeh conveyed his perspective.
He emphasized that Davido winning a Grammy would be a greater win for Africa, whereas the Super Eagles winning AFCON would only benefit Nigeria.
The man went on to explain that there would be additional opportunities for Nigeria to secure victory in AFCON, but if Davido fails to win the Grammy, the likelihood of him being nominated again is low.
He said, “Davido winning the Grammy is a better and greater win for Africans and Nigerians than the Super Eagles winning the Africa Cup of Nations.”
“This is because if Davido wins is for Africans, why Super Eagles winning is for Nigerians. If Nigeria doesn’t win this AFCON, there will be other opportunities, but if Davido loses this Grammy, his chances are very slim. If he wins, he will put a smile on people’s faces.”
