Davido Teams Up With Chike Agada For New Love Song, ‘Lately’

When it comes to adding star power to songs by lesser-known artists, Davido is one of the most active superstars on that list. Now, for his latest effort, the afropop juggernaut has teamed up with rising singer, Chike Agada for a catchy new love song, “Lately“. 

Produced by Speroach (“Assurance”), the song is instantly arresting, sampling DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” and Drake’s “Find Your Love”. Chike Agada delivers a catchy verse, upon which he wears his heart on his sleeve, begging his significant other for her affection. 

Davido joins in and, in his usual fashion, brags about all the women that are chasing him, singing that he’s curved all his options for his main chick. While Davido definitely makes the song a lot more exciting, Chike manages to hold his own, refusing to be outshined.
