Raphael Onyedika provided the assist for Club Brugge in their 1-0 win away to Sturm Graz in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
It was not the best of starts for Club Brugge in their first game which they lost 3-0 to visiting Borussia Dortmund.
Onyedika set up Christos Tzolis for the only goal goal of the game in the 23rd minute.
Meanwhile the two shocking results of the night saw champions Real Madrid amd Bayern suffer defeats.
While Madrid slumped to a 1-0 defeat to French Ligue 1 club Lille, Bayern also fell by the same scoreline to Aston Villa at Villa Park.
In another shocking result, Portuguese giants Benfica hammered visiting Atletico Madrid 4-0.
Other results saw Monaco hold Dinamo Zagreb to a 2-2 draw, Liverpool beat Bologna 2-0 and Juventus edged Leipzig 3-2 away.
