Earlier this year, we reported that Nigerian-American actress, Megalyn Echikunwoke will be starring alongside Pitch Perfect‘s Brittany Snow in an upcoming TV drama. After a few long months, we’ve finally gotten a title for the FOX series, Not Just Me, as well as a gripping trailer.
Not Just Me tells the story of three young women who learn that they were all fathered by the same man. In the trailer, the world discovers that pioneering fertility doctor, Leon Bechley started out his acclaimed career by using his own sperm to conceive over a hundred children.
Living most of her life as an only child, Julia Bechley (played by Snow) has to come to terms with her father’s medical malpractices, as well as the fact that she now has over a hundred siblings — including her childhood best friend, Edie Palmer, played by Echikunwoke.
Julia, Edie and former athlete, Roxy Doyle (Hannah Montana‘s Emily Osment) must now band together to become each other’s family, lamenting the sisterly bonds they lacked as they were growing up, whilst also helping each other through their current struggles.
