Back in February, Ghanaian producer, GuiltyBeatz released the infectious dance anthem, “Pilolo”, titled after a dance move which was popularised by renowned stepper, Incredible Zigi.

Featuring two big names in the West African music scene, Mr Eazi and Kwesi Arthur, “Pilolo” quickly became a crowd favourite in Ghana, but with the new music video that just dropped, GuiltyBeatz is taking the energetic dance worldwide.

Taking us from London to Verona, the accompanying music video for “Pilolo”, masterfully directed by Alex Adjei, is bursting with dance breaks from a score of notable dance acts worldwide, including the man that inspired it all, Incredible Zigi.

On most songs helmed by producers, it’s usually the case that the artists they enlist overshadow their work, however, in this case, GuiltyBeatz is the undisputed star of the show, thanks to the track’s incredibly infectious and inviting beat.

In the video, GuiltyBeatz watches all the dancers turning up to his song on his phone, understandably excited about how far his new banger has reached. “Pilolo” is certainly an exciting documentation of the global expansion of African music and dance.
