The Edo state government has with immediate effect taken action after it warned days ago that beginning from Wednesday, unvaccinated civil servants will be restricted from entering into government offices.
Osamwonyi Irowa, the permanent secretary of the Edo ministry of health, told journalists on Tuesday that only individuals having proof of vaccination will be granted access to government facilities.
According to Irowa, this is the first step in enforcing a ban on big public gatherings for people who don’t have proof of COVID-19 immunization.
You must have your immunization cards in order to attend the state secretariat and other government offices.
Well, in a video that made its way into Instablog9ja civil servants could be seen being denied entry for not having the vaccination card.
