The Under-20 World Cup star Success  Makanjuola, who just signed the dotted lines 3 days ago with CD Leganes of Spain, was thrown into the fray immediately. After signing, he made his debut in a match his team  won  by 2 goals to nil.

According to the lad, “I am so pleased to have played my first professional football outside the shores  of my country with my club Leganes and it ended in victory. I give God the glory”.

When asked if the terms of agreement stipulates he would be with the Under-19 side, he said, “well, presently I am with the  Under-23 side and the team asked me to play for the Under-19 which I did  but I will be with the Under-23 side and I hope soon, I will be with the main team”.

“I am not in a hurry”, he continued. “I just want to take it a step at a time, the most important thing is that I  have been given a platform to showcase my talent in Europe,  hopefully it will come to reality to play for the main team. For  now, I’m with the Under-23 side”, the left footed winger concluded.

Success Makanjuola signed a 3-year contract just days ago with CD Leganes of Spain for an undisclosed sum.
