Watch The Romantic Video For Mayorkun’s Love Song, 'Tire'

Last year, Mayorkun cemented his place as an unrivaled hitmaker with his incredible debut album, The Mayor Of Lagos. Packed with a plethora of infectious bops, from “Red Handed” to “Che Che”, Mayorkun has had no shortage of hits to upgrade to single status.

Just a few weeks after “Sope” was given a music video, Mayorkun has now released another video for one of his favourite tracks off the album, “Tire”.

Produced by Fresh VDM, “Tire” sees Mayorkun wearing his heart on his sleeve. The afropop star passionately confesses to his lover that he thinks about her tirelessly, also proclaiming he’d do anything for her — even die for her.

Shot by DMW’s go-to director, Twitch, “Tire” begins with Mayorkun’s girlfriend discovering his infidelities before Twitch shuttles us back to the good times they shared — depicting the genuine happiness Mayorkun stands to lose if she leaves him.

The video seemingly ends in Mayorkun’s favour, as his girlfriend decides to forgive her trifling man. However, a cliff-hanger that closes out “Tire” leaves us hopeful for a part two, in the form of another video off The Mayor Of Lagos.
