Police arrests 22 members of killer gang, cultists in Maiduguri

About 22 members of a killer gang have been arrested as security operatives commenced crack down on syndicates of a killer cultist gang operating in Maiduguri and the suburbs in Borno State.

Several other members of the killer gang were said to be on the run and are being tracked by the security operatives. Meanwhile, the 22 arrested members of the killer gang were said to have been taken to the headquarters of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police in Maiduguri.

The Theater Commander and top security chiefs within the Theater were said to be at the scene of the arrest on Sunday.
