Fury Trolls Joshua, Wilder For Heavyweight Losses

Tyson Fury took time out of his busy lockdown schedule to aim a few shots at his heavyweight rivals.

The Gypsy King has been hosting daily exercise videos on Instagram with the UK on lockdown due to the coronavirus.

Fury has been lending his voice to the campaign to keep people at home after seeing his trilogy encounter with Deontay Wilder fall through.

Anthony Joshua has also had a fight cancelled following the British Boxing Board of Control’s decision to cancel all events in April and May.

But the worrying times have not dampened Fury’s mood or stopped the WBC champion from trolling Joshua, Wilder, Dillian Whyte and Andy Ruiz Jr.

All five heavyweights are direct rivals, but Fury clearly considers himself the king of the bunch.

‘The below four all have the same in common, ALL LOST,’ Fury said, with a laughing face emoji.

The light-hearted jibe though did not go without a message for people to remain strong, with Fury adding in Instagram’s ‘Stay Home’ sticker on the post.

Fury’s final showdown with Wilder is now expected to take place in October, as the Brit cannot return to America to train or compete before the US lift flight restrictions.

Metro.co.uk understands Team Fury would prefer to fight Joshua in their next fight rather than Wilder and Bob Arum refused to rule out the possibility of the Bronze Bomber stepping aside.

‘I suppose anything is possible,’ Arum told the BBC. ‘But (Kubrat) Pulev has rights.

‘He has entered into a contract [with Joshua]. Wilder has a contract to fight Fury yet again.

‘No promoter like me, Eddie Hearn or Frank Warren is going to violate a contract. ‘So let’s take a step back here, we have to respect everybody’s rights.

‘Is it possible that Pulev and Wilder step aside to let Fury and Joshua fight. Anything is possible but it’s up to them.’
