Alhaji Mahmud Ahmod, the leader of Fulani in Ojowuro community of Ekiti State is dead.
Late Alhaji Ahmod, was until his demise, the Ojowuro Serikin Fulan of Ekiti land, according to the statement issued by the secretary to the group, Alhaji Sulaimon Abdulahi.
The statement said that the Serikin died last Thursday and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The statement further said that the late Fulani leader came to Ekiti from Ilorin, the Kwara State capital around September 1993.
Late Ahmod was installed as the Ojowuro Sheriki Fulani of Ekiti land on September 9, 2009.
The deceased who died at the age of 102 was survived by four wives, many children and grandchildren.
His eight-day Fidau comes up in Ekiti onThursday, this week.
