American rapper Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, is facing allegations of sexual abuse brought forth by record producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.
In a $30 million lawsuit, Jones claims constant groping and potential drug-induced rape by Diddy, along with allegations of being ordered to recruit prostitutes for the rapper’s pleasure.
The producer explained that he was ordered to recruit prostitutes and have sex with them for rapper’s pleasure, and has hundreds of hours of video documenting Diddy’s ‘serious illegal activity’.
Jones also implicated significant figures in the music industry, including record boss Ethiopia Habtemariam, who allegedly dismissed Diddy’s actions as “friendly horseplay” and his way of “showing that he likes you”.
Diddy, who is already facing lawsuits from three women, denied Jones’ allegations and labels them as “sickening.”
The rapper’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, dismissed Jones’s claims as “pure fiction” and emphasized the existence of overwhelming evidence proving the accusations false.
“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 billion lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” attorney Shawn Holley told TMZ.
“His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.
“We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr Blackburn refuses to return our calls.”
Jones, recruited by Diddy in August 2022 to produce songs on the Grammy-nominated R&B album “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” claimef to have endured a year of unsolicited groping and touching at Diddy’s homes and on a rented yacht.
The lawsuit details instances of sexual assault, forced viewing of explicit content, and disturbing encounters with other individuals, including actor Cuba Gooding Jr.
Jones claims he was also sexually assaulted by a female cousin of Combs’s girlfriend Yung Miami and forced to watch a video of record producer Stevie J having sex with another man.
The producer was required to work in Diddy’s bathroom where the rapper would shower naked behind a glass screen, according to the lawsuit.
According to Jones, Diddy used his influence and power in the music industry to create a coercive environment, with threats of bodily harm and boasts about involvement in a 1999 nightclub shooting.
Jones also alleged that Diddy was involved in illegal activities and engaged in actions to control and manipulate him.
He claimed that underage girls and sex workers were guests at the rapper’s house parties and that he saw the star drug their drinks.
Jone also claimed he was ordered to recruit sex workers in Miami and, in a disturbing incident, woke up naked and confused after being drugged, finding himself in bed with Diddy and two sex workers.
The lawsuit, filed at the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, comes after Jones launched a Gofundme appeal seeking funds to sue Diddy for unpaid royalties.
“For the better part of the past 6 months, my team and I have extended every opportunity we knew possible to have these matters addressed and resolved (fairly) but in private,‘ he wrote.
‘However, Diddy’s negotiation tactics, to stall communications, dry out (my) funds, and have me negotiating out of desperation or without a real means of fighting back has forced me here!’
The lawsuit also named Diddy’s son Justin, chief of staff Kristina Khorram, and Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grange as defendants, accusing them of various roles in the alleged misconduct.
But Justin Combs categorically denied the allegations, branding them as lies and desperate measures for financial gain.
A spokesman for Justin Combs said, ‘They are all lies!. This is a clear example of a desperate person taking desperate measures in hopes of a pay day.’
The complaint marks at least the fifth suit filed against Diddy since his former longtime partner Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura and was once under his label, sued him in November for sexual assault.
KanyiDaily recalls that Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs was recently dropped by 18 brands in the wake of sexual abuse claims against him.
