The Director General, Tinubu Support Management Council, Abdulmumin Jibrin, said yesterday that the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is currently supported in his presidential bid by 14 state governors.
Four other governors are in talks to join the train, Jibrin said on his Twitter account.
He gave no details.
“14 Governors in and 4 in talks. 26 state chairmen in. We will not attack or stop anybody from contesting,” he said.
He added: “We (are) exercising our right of choice by promoting Alhaji Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Do same for yours PLS. We will remain gracious and our doors open now and after the victories.”

Tinubu is currently consulting ahead of his formal declaration for the contest.
He had, last month, informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his decision to run for the office.
Emerging from his meeting with Buhari, he said: “I have informed the President of my ambition, but I have not informed Nigerians yet.
“I am still consulting. And I have no problem consulting.
“And I’ve not set a parameter of limitation to the extent of how many people I will consult.
“You will soon hear. All you want to hear is the categorical declaration. You’ve gotten that truth from me that I have informed Mr President of my ambition, and you don’t expect more answers than that.”
