Edo State government has banned public gathering of over 50 persons in the state after the first case of Coronavirus was recorded in the state today March 23rd.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its verified Twitter handle announced the first case of the viral disease in the state today.
The state governor, Godwin Obaseki, announced the ban, saying that schools are to remain closed in the Edo state and civil servants from grade level 1- 12 are to work from home henceforth.
