Former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle star, Michael Owen has backed Manchester United to claim a comfortable victory when they face Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils head to Carrow Road, looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after what has been a difficult start to the season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United are currently down in 14th place in the EPL table and just two points above the relegation zone after a poor run of form.
United ended their 11-game winless run on Thursday night when they claimed a 1-0 win at Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League.
Owen is tipping them to claim all three points when they travel to Norwich this weekend.
Owen told BetVictor, “The Canaries kept a rare clean sheet at Bournemouth on Saturday, and they are bidding for a famous home double against the Manchester giants having won 3-2 against City at Carrow Road earlier in the season.
“United showed their spirit in picking up a hard-earned point against Liverpool on Sunday and I expect them to build on that despite having a near 3000-mile round trip to Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday.”
Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s men have won only two of their opening nine Premier League games this season.
