A disgraced Ghanaian lecturer, Prof. Ransford Gyampo broke down in tears during classed hours after BBC Africa’s “Sex for grades” exposé revealed that he demanded sex from a journalist who posed as a student in order to grant her favours.

In a video that is circulating on social media, the very popular political science lecturer could not control himself as students mocked him.

The lecturer could be seen wiping his face with his handkerchief and trying to regain his composure as students laughed and cheered.

Gyampo in the video made many inappropriate remarks at the lady, including telling her he wants to marry her. He also told her to kiss him.

Meanwhile Yaw Gyampo in defense has stated that he was entrapped by the BBC journalist and did absolutely nothing wrong but BBC strongly denied his claims.
