Lami Phillips Gbadamosi, Nigerian singer and songwriter has shared a lengthy message with her followers on Instagram.
She hoped that they learn something in this Coronavirus season.
Phillips said it is an interesting time to be alive.
She urged every one to reconnect with their loved ones and their creator, not over looking prayers as well.
“Do we even get it? Do we get that the whole world is on PAUSE?”, she wrote on the eve of her birthday on Friday.
“It is an interesting time to be alive. I pray whatever we (as a collective ) are supposed to LEARN from this will be truly learnt and sustained in our daily walk with God and each other.
“I know social media helps some deal with it but maybe .. just maybe .. we spend too much time here anyway? Maybe we should put our phones down and talk to our creator and our families. Maybe.. we may need conversations with self? It’s an interesting time to be alive.. !
“Some of us need to continue practicing social distancing with some people/places even after this is over..
“I hope the wake up call wakes us up…I pray that He “who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases” ( Psalm 103: 3) becomes your friend and saviour during this season of isolation and reflection and I pray God covers you and your family now and always.
Phillips who attended elementary school at Corona School, Victoria Island took vocal lessons and joined the choir at her church (Jesus House, UK) while in the UK studying. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she later moved to Nigeria with her parents and siblings.
