COVID-19 Giveaway: Peter Okoye completes house rent of follower who asked for help

After people were told to stay at home to avoid a further spread of the deadly virus, coronavirus, many lamented about hunger and lack of money.

To ease the burdens on people, Nigerian celebrities came out to donate money and foodstuff to as many people as they can reach.

Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye was not left out in this act as he took to his page on popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to give out cash to as many followers who request his help.

From helping people whose parents are hungry to parents whose children are starving, the singer ensured he responded to as many people as he can.

One of his followers identified as Ramani Bilikis took to the music star’s comment section to plead his help over her house rent.

She said that her rent would be due on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. She stated that she needed 20,000 naira to complete the money she has on her. Bilikis also shared a photo of the previous year’s receipt as a piece of evidence to her claim.
