Moment An Umu-Ada Meeting Was Dispersed With Heavy Beating By Coronavirus Task Force
The moment an Umuada meeting was dispersed by a coronavirus task force in one of the Southern-Eastern states in Nigeria has gone viral.
The coronavirus is an ongoing global pandemic, which is responsible for the death of over 41,000, with over 800,000 people also reported to have been infected by the virus.
The Federal Government of Nigeria, in a bid to curb the spread of the virus in the country, directed people to stay at home.
This particular group were obviously flouting the rules, as they gathered in numbers.
To disperse them, the coronavirus task force opted to cane the women who were gathered. As the task force approached the scene, the women fled the scene in numbers.
