French Cup: Osimhen Subbed On As 4th-tier Club Epinal Eliminate Lille

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was in action for Lille but could not prevent them from losing 2-1 away  
to fourth division side Epinal, in the French Cup round of 16 on Wednesday night, Completesports.com reports.

Osimhen was brought on in the 65th minute for Jonathan Ikone while the score was 1-1.

Lille got off to a good start as they took the lead in the 8th minute through Loic Remy.

In the 56th minute Epinal were back on level terms thanks to Jean-Philippe Krasso.

And in the 62nd minute, Krasso scored the winner to send Epinal into the quarter-final.

The defeat was Lille’s third in their last three games in all competitions.

Also, it was Osimhen’s third consecutive games without scoring for Lille.
