Nigerian comedian, Ebiye Victor is currently under heavy backlash on social media over a new skit he released insinuating that singer 9ice is secretly happy that Burna Boy did not win a Grammy Award.

KanyiDaily had reported that Burna Boy lost Grammy Award for the Best Contemporary World Music Album to Beninese legendary singer, Angelique Kidjo.

Following the development, Ebiye released a new skit that shows him mimicking 9ice, who had claimed in one of his songs that he’ll bring a Grammy award to Nigeria.

In Ebiye’s skit, 9ice picked a phone call where he was told Burna did not win the Grammys and was jubilating while pretending to be sad for the singer over his oss at the recently concluded award ceremony.

The skit appeared to have angered a lot of people as many used the opportunity to drag the young man on social media.
