Nigeria’s former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has arrived Niamey for the International Conference on Constitutionalism and Democracy in Africa. Niamey is the capital city of Niger.
The former president will be participating in the conference which opens on Wednesday, October 2, alongside other African leaders including Nicephore Soglo, former president of Benin and Dr Christopher Fomunyoh, Senior Associate for Africa, National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI).
At the international conference, Jonathan revisited the Transformation Agenda, which was the mission statement of his regime.
The former president also talked about how the federal government of Nigeria under his leadership made giant strides in areas of electricity, economy and the establishment of local content policies.
