This happened after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared President Muhammadu Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the 2019 presidential election, held on Saturday Feb. 23.
Buhari got 15,191,847 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar who had 11,262,978 votes.
