Kidnapped Daughter Of Adamawa Politician, Pays $15,000 In Bitcoin As Ransom To Regain Freedom

The daughter of an Adamawa based politician, Aishat Ardo, who was kidnapped in Abuja on Saturday, has been freed by her abductors after a ramson was paid by her father.

Aisha Ardo was one of the five residents of Abuja who were abducted on Saturday evening – among them were two teenagers and a lecturer with Baze University.

Her father had earlier confirmed that his daughter, aged 24, was abducted outside Blickers super market in Asokoro, Abuja.

According to The Cable, Aisha was released on Sunday night, September 15, after the sum of $15,000 in bitcoin was paid by her father, Umar Ardo.
