Oghenekaro Etebo admits Stoke City deserved more from their 1-1 draw against Aston Villa in an English Championship clash last Saturday reports Completesports.com.
Sam Vokes gave the Potters a fifth minute lead but Alfred Adomah Aston earned Aston Villa a share of the spoil in the 62nd minute.
Adomah’s strike denied the Potters a 10th league win of the season but Etebo however urged his teammates to stay focused ahead of Saturday’s home clash against Nottingham Forest.
“Thought we deserved more from last weekend’s game but we keep our heads up, stick together and look forward to the next game,” Etebo wrote on his Instagram Page.
Etebo has featured 25 times for Stoke City across all competitions without scoring a goal nor providing an assist in his debut season for the Potters.
Stoke City are currently 18th in the Championship table with 41 points from 34 league games.
