Davido Has Been Nominated For A 2019 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Award

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Davido is one of the most celebrated African stars working today. Now, he’s unsurprisingly been nominated in the ‘Favourite Global Music Star’ category at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.

In the past two years, the afropop superstar has been putting in a lot of work — delivering a string of fantastic singles and soaring on a bunch of features — and now it seems 2019 is the year he gets a ton of recognition and accolades for all his efforts.

With categories spanning across television, movies, music and social media, a nomination in the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards is a pretty big deal, and a testament to how well Davido has been doing recently.

In the ‘Favorite Global Music Star’ category, which seeks to celebrate artists from around the world, Davido was been selected for the second year running, competing amongst the likes of David Guetta, Taylor Swift, J Balvin and more.
