Burna Boy has really immersed himself into the UK music scene, thanks to collaborations with a few of their most celebrated stars, including Rita Ora, Lily Allen and Dave. Now, he’s featured on UK singer, Mahalia‘s affectionate new song, “Simmer“, and, as you can imagine, it’s exceptional.
Mahalia is set to release her debut album, Love & Compromise, in September, and she’s been doling out tracks to give fans a taste of what’s to come. The Burna Boy-assisted “Simmer” is certainly the best of the bunch, as the pair have impeccable chemistry on the mid-tempo track.
On “Simmer”, Mahalia demands the type of love she expects, telling her lover that he needs to take more action and make a clearer show of affection towards her. Burna Boy then joins her with a solid verse, presenting a rebuttal and expressing his own feelings towards his lover.
