It’s been over a year since Wani released his debut EP, Lagos City Vice, and after a criminally long wait, the rising star has finally diverted our attention back to that flawless project by dropping a music video for the fantastic “China Designer”.

Wani‘s talent is hard to ignore, as he first got our attention with his stellar refix of Drake’s “Blem”, and he hasn’t dropped the ball since. His penchant for sampling nostalgic songs from the ’00s, sets him apart from his counterparts and helped elevate his EP.

With the definite fan favourite being “China Designer”, it makes perfect sense that it’s the first song to get a music video. Even though it has been over a year since the EP’s release, it’s never too late to introduce a song this great to a wider audience.

For the video, Wani enlists the talents of Xamani, who does the song justice. Shot in a beachy setting, Wani mainly performs the song while enjoying a serene get away from Lagos’ usual hustle and bustle, in the company of a stunning model.
