About three months ago, Nonso Amadi got fans excited when he confirmed plans to release another EP this year. Well, after a slight delay, the singer-songwriter has finally shared the cover art and pre-order link for the project, Free, which is set to drop on August 9.

Free is a 6-track-long EP, upon which Nonso Amadi looks to flaunt his vocal prowess, as he takes the majority of the project solo. When it comes to featured acts, Nonso looks to two industry heavyweights, Simi and Mr Eazi, to assist him.

Given just how strong Nonso Amadi is on his own, we’re really looking forward to hearing the collaborations. We expect Simi to draw out the best in Nonso Amadi, and we are especially intrigued to see how the ever-versatile Mr Eazi matches his sound.

Although Nonso Amadi has released a few solid singles in the past year — “Comfortable”, “Dial Me” and “Emergency” — his 2018 bop, “No Crime” looks to be the only recent single to make it to the EP. Well, that really just means more new music for us.
