Lookman Beats Boniface, Kudus To Europa League Goal Of The Season Award

Ademola Lookman has won the 2023/24 Europa League Goal of the Season award.

Lookman beat off competition from the likes of Victor Boniface, Mohammed Kudus, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Rafael Leao to land the award.

UEFA’s Technical Observer Panel picked Lookman’s second goal against Bayer Leverkusen in Atalanta’s 3-0 win against Leverkusen in Wednesday’s final.

After receiving a pass from a teammate, Lookman nutmegged Granite Xhaka before curling the ball into the far left corner.

Boniface was in eight place after netting a superb goal in Leverkusen’s 5-1 win against Qarabag on matchday three on 26 October, 2023.

On his part, Kudus placed third for his strike against in West Ham’s 5-0 win against Freiburg in the round of 16, second leg clash.

Lookman won the Man of the Match and Player of the Week for his hat-trick heroics against Leverkusen.
