Fast-rising Nollywood actress, Aderounmu Adejumoke has passed away at the age of 40.
The actress, known for her feature in the hit series Jenifa’s Diary, reportedly died in the early hours of Saturday, April 8, 2024.
Details surrounding Aderonmu’s untimely demise remain scarce, with only limited information available online.
Nigerian filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi confirmed the heartbreaking news via his Instagram page today, Monday, April 8, 2024.
Seun Oloketuyi wrote, “A family member of former star of hit series jenifa diary Jumoke Aderonmu has tweeted that the budding Actress is dead, Details are still sketchy. May she find peace with her maker.”
A statement on a flyer, believed to be shared by Aderonmu’s family, reads: “In the profound depths of grief and sorrow, we share the heartbreaking passing of our sister, daughter, aunt, Aderonmu Adejumoke Oreoluwa.”
