President Bola Tinubu inherited a poorer economy from his predecessor, according to Senator Sunday Karimi, who represents Kogi West District.
The President is handling the biggest economic issues since the start of the Fourth Republic, according to the Senator from Kogi West.
At the inaugural Igbaruku Day celebration this past weekend in Igbaruku-Okeri, Yagba West Local Council, Kogi State, he made this statement.
Karimi stated that the Tinubu-led government has demonstrated a dedication to reviving the economy and making it robust and independent.
The congressman stated that both the people and the administration should work together to achieve economic revival.
Thus, he tasked the populace with being patriotic and dedicated to the advancement of both the country and their local communities.

According to Karimi, the present administration’s economic problems will be reasonably resolved shortly if all residents do their share.
He said, “The government of Tinubu inherited a bad, in fact, the worst, situation so far.
Tinubu met the average Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate of 1.8 per cent.
In terms of the inflation rate, the four-year average preceding the administration of Tinubu was 15.1 per cent. But the Tinubu government is not resting on its oars.
They are working tirelessly every day to find solutions to the problems.”
