Former Minister of State for Health and ex-chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Gabriel Aduku, has passed away.
Aduku reportedly breathed his last on Monday morning in the United States of America (USA) after a brief illness. A native of Kogi State, Aduku held the esteemed traditional title of Amana Ogohi 1, Ata Igala of the Igala kingdom.
In May 2023, Aduku assumed the role of National Chairman of ACF, succeeding the former Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbe. However, his tenure was short-lived as he was replaced by Mamman Osman, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), in December of the same year, amidst allegations preceding the 2023 general election.
