A chieftain of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Senator Abubakar Danso Sodangi is dead.
The former senator, who represented Nasarawa West for 12 years in the Nigerian Senate, breathed his last on Sunday at the age of 70.
In 2023, Sodangi served as the Chairman of the Campaign Council for the re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
He was elected Senator in the Nasarawa West Constituency of Nasarawa State in May 1999 and was re-elected in 2003 and 2007.
He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Commonwealth Bar Association, the African Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Defense Institute.
