A devastating incident unfolded in Nakere, a Buh-speaking community within Nasarawa State’s Wamba Local Government Area, as unidentified gunmen launched a violent attack.

The attack led to the death of Tari Moses Gbaja, commonly known as T Boy, a youth leader.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, February 28 at about 9 pm also witnessed the kidnapping of businessman Nnamani Albert and Tabitha Dauda Musa, the wife of the leading pastor at Christ-Elect Revival Mission.

It was gathered that the gunmen left several residents injured.

Efforts to obtain comments from the police regarding the incident were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.

Kanyi Daily recalls that the Nasarawa State Police Command arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters, widely recognized as Yahoo boys, within the Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
